Two major printing techniques used to do printing on Kraft boxes.

- Flexography
- Offset printing.
Flexography
Flexography is the most common and mostly used printing
technique for printing on the Kraft packaging boxes. In flexography the light
sensitive polymers are used to do printing on the Kraft stock. Printed on the fine
and high quality Kraft stock gives alluring results on the product box.
Mostly Kraft boxes are print with this methodology, thickness
of Kraft stock can increase by adding more layers of Kraft sheets. Die cutting
can be done easily on the Hard and thick stock. This cost-effective printing
method is ideal for both small to large print runs.
Offset
printing
Second main printing technique is offset printing method which is used to do printing on the Custom Kraft pre rolls boxes. The plates used for offset printing are made of either zinc or aluminum and are then coated with photosensitive materials. This printing technique is best for printing on the Kraft board since the inks used are oil-based, to get the full color printing results on the Kraft stock Offset printing method is used.
